When it comes to praise in the horror world few can top what iconic author Stephen King and his recent praise of the Spanish horror film ‘The Coffee Table’ has many buzzing about what the film has in store.
The film is directed by Caye Casas, and stars Josep Riera, David Pareja, Estefanía de los Santos, and Claudia Riera, and the little known Spanish horror is now garnering plenty of buzz following what King wrote about it on the X (formerly Twitter) social media platform.
King called the film “horrible and also horribly funny,” while at the same time guessing that his followers have “never seen a movie as black as this one.”

There’s a Spanish movie called THE COFFEE TABLE on Amazon Prime and Apple+. My guess is you have never, not once in your whole life, seen a movie as black as this one. It’s horrible and also horribly funny. Think the Coen Brothers’ darkest dream.
